Damage and Healing

Wounds

Taking damage in combat has a chance to inflict Wounds. Wounds essentially reduce your total HP during that combat scenario. When healing a character inflicted with Wounds, you will only be able to heal them up to the purple bar that appears in the character's HP bar for that stage.

Food/Healing

In Adventure mode, you will be able to eat  food items that restore hit points as you make your way through a stage. To eat the food, press [F] while standing on top of the item.

Please note that only the Knight that picks up the item will be affected, even if they are already at maximum HP so make sure to switch to the Knight you want to heal before picking up these items. One more important thing to note, consuming food is the only way during combat to “heal” a character's Wounds (restoring some of the Knight’s max HP).

Picking up Loot

As you progress through a stage, certain items may drop from enemies and from breaking things like ores and barrels. These items could be ingredients for cooking or materials to help your character get stronger. Whatever the item is, you can pick it up by walking over the item. If the Auto Battle function is on, your character will automatically pick up the items. Gold gets picked up automatically without having to walk close to it.

Please note that you must make sure to pick up the loot before you leave a stage, otherwise it will disappear. Sometimes a cutscene will trigger before you can pick up your loot. Do not worry, you should be able to pick up the items after the cutscene plays out.
