Sorin’s PICK! Veda’s TIPS!

24.04.01

Hello Masters of the Book! It is I, Sorin, Saint of the Sun

Finally I’ll be able to meet all of you in Todburg! It’s so close I can barely wait!💛

Before our adventures begin, I’ve gathered some helpful information for you! Let’s take our time and take in all this wonderful knowledge.

1. Attributes

Attributes represent the power of the eight stars, and each Knight of Veda possesses the power of one type of star. I, Sorin, possess the power of light!

However this power is also possessed by enemies who oppose the Master of the Book. Attributes work together to have both strengths and weaknesses when they go against other attributes.

The relationship between attributes are separated into two groups.

 - Fire > Poison > Earth > Lightning > Water > Fire

 - Light > Blood > Darkness > Light

As I possess the power of Light, I deal greater damage to enemies of the Blood attribute, and I take more damage from enemies attributed to the Darkness attribute. Additionally, when dealing damage and receiving damage from the same attribute, damage is significantly reduced! While this is good for defense, you’re better off utilizing different attributes for your offense.

Furthermore, enemies that are continuously attacked with one attribute gradually adapt and become temporarily resistant.

Enemies that are under the effect of the active resistance have greatly improved defenses against that attribute, and the damage from the attribute will even reflect back, so take care ٩(๑`^´๑)۶.

You don’t need to become too cautious of active resistance, since enemies with this resistance system temporarily exhibit the properties of their resistant attribute. Thus, if an enemy has a Light attribute resistance, utilizing a Dark attribute attack will deal even more damage than usual!

Remember to utilize attributes and resistances to the best of your abilities, and you will surely bring down the corruption plaguing the lands!

2. Position

There are four types of positions: Tank, DPS, Healer, Support. Each Knight of Veda falls into these positions. Since each position has a different role on the battlefield, I better explain each one in detail.

First, Tanks possess higher defenses compare to other positions, allowing them to withstand more enemy attacks than other positions. They also have other skills that can help protect other allies!

Second, the DPS! DPS characters have powerful and flashy attack skills! However they have lower defences than other positions, and therefore are more vulnerable to enemy attacks.

Healers possess the skills to restore allied Knight’s health, meaning they can really turn the tides of battle! Rally your allies with a healer, and get your team back up on their feet.

Lastly, the Support! Support characters cannot deal powerful damage to enemies or heal allies directly, but they can give beneficial effects or summon creatures that help distract enemies' attention away from the active knight.

Combine Attributes with Positions and you can conduct yourselves more effectively in battle! Selecting the right team composition for the job is crucial for victory.

3. Adventure Level

Adventure Level represents the extent of your power. The higher your Adventure Level, the stronger the enemies you'll have to face! But of course, it wouldn't be fair if the enemies just got stronger, right?! As the enemies become more formidable, you'll be able to obtain more valuable and plentiful rewards!

Your Adventure Level increases when you achieve a certain level as the Master of the Book and complete missions related to leveling up. If you are in the process of a level-up mission, your experience points may reach the maximum, but your level won't increase until the mission is completed.

You can raise your Adventure Level up to a maximum of 8, and if you wish, you can also lower it by one step from your current level.

By lowering your Adventure Level, the enemies will become weaker, making battles easier, but the rewards you can earn will also decrease. So, if you want more substantial rewards, aim for the highest level! If you prefer a more stable adventure, consider setting it to a level lower~!

4. Equipment

Equipment includes a variety of weapons and accessories used by the Knights of Veda!

The weapons used by the Knights of Veda come in a total of 9 types, and each Knight can only equip the type of weapon they use. Additionally, the accessories consist of rings and necklaces. Rings have an offensive nature, while necklaces are more defensive.

Now, let's tell you how to acquire this equipment! Weapons can generally be obtained through rewards from adventure areas, crafted at the equipment shop in Todburg Village, or obtained through the Call of the Stars!

Accessories can be acquired by defeating the mid-boss that appears in the sixth stage of adventure areas or by defeating bosses sleeping in the Sealed Prisons.

Information on obtaining items through combat content, including accessories, can be found in the game's 'Adventure Guide,' so be sure to check it out!

Through enhancement and ascension, you can also make your equipment stronger. Enhancing equipment increases its level along with its stats, providing significant assistance to the Knights of Veda!

Furthermore, through ascension, you can increase the maximum level of weapons and accessories, drawing out their potential. Especially for accessories, ascension not only increases the maximum level but also strengthens unique effects, offering a two-for-one benefit!

Weapons can be enhanced by refining, which strengthens their unique effects using identical weapons, so make use of any duplicate weapons you acquire! Combine enhanced and ascended equipment with well-developed Knights of Veda for a fantastic adventure across the continent of Planis~!

5. Relics

Relics are also part of the equipment we talked about earlier. Relics come in various types, and have unique effects and set effects that will have a significant impact on your Knights of Veda.

Relics are powerful items that contain the essence of Knights of Veda that have been sacrificed. Possessing them will allow you to gain the strong powers of those who were sacrificed.

There are 5 types of Relic:

Knight’s Memories

Core Beliefs

Last Breath

Blood Determination

Tears of Sadness

Your Knights can wear one relic in each of these slots, totaling 5 relics per Knight of Veda.

Artifacts have randomly assigned stats when obtained, and when enhancing your relics, you can either unlock more stats or improve the current stats of the relic.

Even more than that, Relics also have set effects! If you wear 2 or more artifacts of the same set, a special effect will be triggered which will make you even more powerful.

For example, wearing four or more of the ‘Wandering Story Teller’ relic set, will grant you both the 2-set effect, which increases defense, and the 4-set effect, which restores health when the Overflowing Power of the Stars is activated.

You can also pick different 2-set effects that will be active at the same time. For example, if you mix the 2-set effect of the ‘Wandering Story Teller’ listed above, with the 2-set effect of the ‘Watchful Watcher’ effect, both relic sets 2-set effects will be active.

As such, you can create various combinations of Relics while activating the Relic Set Effects! You can find more information about Relics in the Game Guide listed below.

6. Synthesis and Replace Item

If you are lacking materials to improve your Knights of Veda, or items to enhance and ascend your equipment, you can try utilizing Himith in Todburg to Synthesize or Replace your items.

Synthesis is a feature that consumes 3 items used for Ascending or Skill enhancing, and a certain amount of gold, to transform them into higher grade materials. You can also synthesize 80 Adventurer’s Shoes into the much coveted “Hero’s Shoes,” which offer substantial rewards from a single stage.

Himith also offers replacement items! Replacing items allows you to turn two of the same items into a different item of the same grade.

For example, if you lack ‘Crown of Faint Healing’ which is needed to ascend your Healer Knights of Veda, but have plenty ‘Mask of Revealed Mystery’, you can use two ‘Mask of Revealed Mystery’ to create a ‘Crown of Faint Healing’.

Has Himith got your interest yet? He is a very helpful (but slightly odd character) who will help you to grow your Knights of Veda quicker than anyone else ( • ' ᴗ '•)و✧.

Himith can be found in Todburg, so make sure to pay him a visit when you’re in town shopping, and he may just have exactly what you need.

7. Support Knight of Veda and Co-op Play

Having difficulty progressing through your Adventures? The Undead beating you down? Don’t worry, help is at hand! Use the Support Knight of Veda function, to call in your heavy hitting friend’s Knights of Veda.

These friends could be your actual friends, or even your Guild Mate’s strongest Knights, and they can be called in to help from mission set up screen.

You can also set up your own Knights of Veda to help out those in need. If you wish to set them up, head to your profile and select which of your Knights of Veda you want to come in and help.

If the enemy you’re going toe to toe with is even stronger than you think, why not call in actual Masters of the Book, and not just their envoys, to help you bring peace to Planis. All you have to do is hit the co-op Mode button in the mission preparation screen, and select up to two other friends to join you in your conquest!

You can play with both friends and Guild mates, and everything is better with friends! You can also just search out other Masters of the Book to join you, just incase you’re not friends...yet!

There are certain restrictions on teaming up together in co-op play, such as your Adventure Levels have to be the same. If you are planning on using co-op mode to journey across the lands of Planis, then check the tips in game, or check out our handy game guide below.

8. Adventure Guide

Do you wish to strengthen your Knights of Veda even more, or are you looking to swap your equipment for more powerful weapons or accessories? There are many ways for you, the Masters of the Book, to grow, but if you're unsure about what to do or where to start, the Adventure Guide is a great resource to consult!

The Adventure Guide allows you to explore information on various enhancement materials, breakthrough materials, accessories, and even relics of heroes~

By clicking the 'Move' button activated on the right side of the 'Adventure Guide' screen, you can quickly navigate to the respective area, so make sure to use it to your advantage!

If you wish to form a bond with a new Knight of Veda, we recommend collecting trophies from each region to acquire Starstones! By clearing the challenge goals of stages in adventure areas and obtaining a certain number of trophies, you can receive Starstones as rewards~

Since you can obtain these rewards up to 10 times per region, we hope you can summon the Knight of Veda you desire through trophy rewards!

Well, how did you find it? Were the nuggets of wisdom curated by yours truly, Sorin, to your liking?! ⸜(ˊᗜˋ)⸝

I’m crossing my fingers that the insights I've shared have made their way to you, Masters of the Book, and will sprinkle a little extra magic on your adventures across the vast lands of Planis!

So, as I scatter a generous dash of Sorin’s sunny blessings your way for today, it’s time for me to bow out~!

I'll be waiting for the 13th Master of the Book to visit Todburg~ 💛 Let the adventure begin!
